End of 2013 : Part 2

Going out to Malaga in March to film the Onza team was probably the highlight of my year. We all had such a great time and to then have a video to look back on the time we had is a bonus. I loved everything about making that video; the interviews, the awesome riding locations, the beautiful scenery and weather. Sadly this trip wont be happening again this year, with the ownership of Onza having a reshuffle, budgets just wont stretch.

Now that's my kinda suitcase. Camera, tripod, accessories and helmet all jammed in there

It was nice looking at this knowing there was 2ft of snow back home!

Looking back through the footage to make this edit I found a few nice unused clips but to be honest it was hard to find anything I hadn’t used. With the planning and structure of making a video abroad in just a week we had to be very careful with time. All the riders would try find something and call me over to film. If it got filmed it was almost certainly a keeper so inevitably there isn’t much spare besides 45mins of Joe Poyzer talking about Onza as a company after about 4 G + T’s!

I kind of got the urge to put a bit of effort in to editing this, it’s not really about big riding or originality its just a reflection on an awesome week away doing what I love most surrounded by people doing the same. We had some laughs, nobody got hurt except poor James Davies who was so ill he could barely string 3 words together without bursting in to a coughing fit. I think the whole thing was very professional and other brands should do more things like this with their sponsored riders.

Long day for Joe

I hope anyone can enjoy this and not just the people who were involved. Either way roll on summer!!

Oh and if you haven’t watched Onza de Paraiso then here….
